Towards the Singularity - for Orchestra

This piece was premiered last October in Yakima, Wa in the Seasons Festival.

 The piece is inspired by Ray Kurzweil’s concept of the Singularity, a moment when human evolution will change due to technological evolution. He defines this changing point around the moment that a simple computer will have the power of all human brains together. The piece is inspired in the idea of technology being part of humanity up to the point they are the same.
